Deconstructed Billboard

Based on the idea of a deconstructed billboard and referencing the Havas brand and logo, the design for this installation uses varying sizes of flat panels arranged at right angles. The panels show abstract segments of Havas billboard campaigns past and present, while florescent red acrylic elements within the structure reflect and catch the light.

The installation comprises three structural elements: the large main arrivals desk; an attached ‘tower’; and a standalone exhibition display stand. All three use the same visual language and modular construction method. Adhesive-free, this allows the structure to be packed flat and reconfigured at a later date, preventing waste and encouraging re-use.

The Deconstructed Billboard installation formed the entrance to Havas Group’s 2017 Global Leadership Meeting, and worked as a delegate registration desk. The structure was also open to the public and to students.
