London’s urban landscape is changing rapidly. Developed through a methodology based on walking, creativity and fiction, Remake London takes the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire as a starting point to reimagine and critique public engagement in the planning system.
Using psychogeography and London’s hidden narratives this project seeks to change our perceptions of the built environment, and engage and empower us in its future development. The outputs of the process are grouped in a Speculative Atlas of London that imagines an alternative, fictional built environment.
